Strategic Aims


Strategic aim 1:    
To strengthen and invigorate Momentum Arts as a business

Business objective 1.1:    
To strengthen our financial position and intelligence

Business objective 1.2:
To enhance understanding and awareness of Momentum Arts work

Business objective 1.3:    
To create a professional environment that is vibrant and supportive where dedicated people want to join, contribute and stay

Business objective 1.4:    
To review and strengthen our policies, procedures and support mechanisms in line with our organisational capacity


Strategic aim 2:
To engage and empower people and communities in the East of England

Business objective 2.1:
To support the creative development of (young people) communities in the East of England

Business objective 2.2:
To create professional development opportunities for artists in the East of England

Business objective 2.3:
To invest in the development of long term sustainable communities in the East of England, especially Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.


Strategic aim 3:
To promote the value of diversity and inclusion

Business objective 3.1:
Through positive leadership, to highlight the value of diversity and cohesion in the East of England, and beyond

Business objective 3.2:
To champion the benefits of inclusion in the East of England, and beyond

Business objective 3.3:
To continue to develop Momentum Arts’ understanding of, and expertise in diversity and inclusion

To create, design and deliver dynamic arts projects

To value the individuals experience and progression within each programme

To invest in high quality ideas, unusual partnerships and value unexpected outcomes

To communicate lessons and share our knowledge with a wide range of partners, practitioners and arts organisations
