Creative Learning: Techniques for use with Young People
Tuesday 2 March 2010: 1.30 – 4.30pm (Sandwiches/Refreshments will be provided)

Are you a Youth worker, Practitioner or lead activity with young people in Fenland or East Cambridgeshire? Do you want to develop creative skills to engage and inspire young learners? This practical workshop, led by an experienced Momentum Arts Creative Facilitator, will:
• Share practical creative techniques, ice breakers and activities for use with young people to develop relationships, build trust, confidence and self esteem.
• Use drama, role play and creative problem solving to draw out themes and explore issues relevant to young people i.e. aspirations, respect, equality, community, youth culture.
• How to use the Arts Awards qualifications as a framework for youth arts programmes
• Develop activities for creative consultation, evaluation and reflection using drama, role play and visual arts
• How to bring socially inclusive and youth-led approaches to creative learning through the arts

ARTS AWARD ADVISER TRAINING - BRONZE/SILVER
EAST CAMBRIDGESHIRE AND FENLAND
Momentum Arts is running one day courses to become an Arts Award Adviser.
If you are a youth worker, practitioner or lead activity with learners in East Cambridgeshire or Fenland the cost of the training is subsidized as part of the Cambridgeshire Youth Offer funded by Cambridgeshire County Council.

WORKSHOP: LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION
What to be a film-maker? Learn Photography?
Free workshops (for 13-19 years) will be led by Peter Harmer and Dan Donovan, professional Momentum Artists.
- Experiment with moving and still images
- Get involved in videoing, camera work, lighting and sound recording
- Introduction to PhotoShop to crop and edit pictures
- Create film and photographic footage for DVD

Tuesday 16 February 7 – 8.30pm Manea Youth Club, Manea Village Hall
