Exposure - Developing Creative Leaders

In September 2010 Momentum Arts will be recruiting for the next year of the Exposure – Developing Creative Leaders programme. Funded by the Arts Council England East, this three year programme which piloted in 2010, aims to provide a platform for emerging and mid career artists who are working in inclusion and participatory settings. The artists will be exposed to new ways of using the arts, therefore empowering and equipping them to develop as creative facilitators, leaders and mentors for inclusion and participatory settings.

By developing the artist’s skills within participatory settings the shared experience of the larger community will also be enhanced. Working on digital collaborative work the artists will experiment with new technologies and engage in skills-sharing and networking opportunities with artists working in different mediums to them. We will work to develop an artistic network/forum and promote peer to peer mentoring that will serve to broaden the skills and knowledge of all artists on the programme.

We are hoping that many of the artists coming through the programme will have the opportunity to work at an international level thus improving their own employability and raising the profile of the arts in Cambridgeshire.

We are looking to recruit emerging and mid career artists who have a passion for working in inclusion and participatory settings.
